I hope using lube is ok because otherwise I'm in big trouble. I always need a little extra help in that department.

I have heard that lube can kill of some sperm but without lube we wouldn't be doing anything so for me it's worth the risk to use it.

Lube is no good when TTC! It can kill the sperm. However, you can use preseed... it's a sperm friendly lubricant.
